WingNuts and BoltsThis section details the cloud creator
Clouds are fun atmospheric effects (in every defination of the word) that cannot be interacted with the player. Clouds exist on the top most layer of the game.
Your standard clouds window.
To begin, create a new cloud using the "New" button.
Cloud image - Clouds are made up of a single image, but this image can animate. The animation is handled in the Graphics section.
Flight velocity - This is the Minimum and Maximum speeds in pixels per second that the cloud will move. Generally when we think of clouds, we think of slow drifting puffs of white. But you can make this anything, an energy cloud for example that moves very fast.
Can change direction - When this is selected the cloud can and will change direction.
Changes direction suddently - When this is selected, the cloud will make asudden and abrupt change in direction, rather than a gentle shift.
Yaw rate - This is the rate the cloud will turn in degrees per second.
Bearing change - This is the maximum and minimum change in degree the cloud will take when turning.
Change time - This is the minimum and maximum time in seconds it will take a cloud to turn.
Enable cloud spin - When this is selected, the cloud will spin.
Randomize spin direction - When this is selected the direction the cloud spins will be chosen at random.
Cloud spin rate - This is the minimum and maximum rate in degrees per second that the cloud will rotate.
Size scaling to use - This item will let you scale the graphic of the cloud. This is measured in percentage.
Cloud color - These three values let you change the color of a cloud. These values are measured in percentage. You can reduce the ammount of each color by bringing it's percentage down.
Extra cloud transparency - Nomrally you make a cloud a transparent image, but if you need it to be even more transparent, you can increase the transparency ammount with this percentage value.
Cloud project shadow - This option gives the cloud a shadow to be drawn on the land.
Cloud altitude - This is the distance in pixels between the cloud and it's shadow. It's an illusion of height.
Shadow intensity - This is a percentage of how intense the shadow of the cloud will be. 100% is black and 0% is invisible.
